The final scene of the original show is aang and Katara kissing. It's kinda integral to the show. Some people have criticized this aspect, but when the original opens up with katara talking about the avatars story, (the opening going forward even describing her hopes for aang) and aangs first lines looking up at katara in the ice. It's confusing to remove this. Some people have brought up the casting, but the story was written before the casting. They could have just got an older aang or younger katara. Genuinely dissapointing. The rest of the show I haven't really decided upon, but tbh I was going in ready to dislike since the creators left, and I don't really see the point in live action adaptations of already masterpiece animation
