For anyone who’s familiar with modern kids shows, is there anything you think has a level of impact like ATLA?

Sorry if the title phrasing is clunky, wasn’t sure how to ask the question concisely.

I’m (almost) 22 and rewatching ATLA for at least the fifth time. It was a HUGE part of my childhood, and a very defining part of my development in my opinion (alongside Studio Ghibli movies like Nausicaa). Last time I rewatched it, I was 18 and started to realize how beautifully it taught certain concepts and lessons at an age-appropriate level, and how intense it was for a kids show. Now, as a 22 year old, I’m seeing even more of the depth of the show and starting to wonder if it’d be considered too intense/inappropriate for kids today. Obviously the show is relatively tame for adult viewers, and a lot of the more sensitive content is softened to make it fit the TV-Y7 rating (for example, Jet’s death) but there are still some pretty heavy implications in the show, like the fact that Zuko’s father willingly disfigured him. The show addresses trauma, war, and the complexities of human nature in a way that seems uncommon in kids shows.

I feel like there’s been an increase in vigilance about what kids are exposed to (which has pros and cons) and that some of the content in ATLA wouldn’t fly today. So I’m curious, is there any modern kid’s media that you think compares to the impact ATLA had on so many kids?
