Basically what the title says, but to me at least, none of Korras fights should’ve played out the way they did, and the only reason they did was to further the plot of the season.

We see Korra (even using the AS) struggle to defeat unnamed dark spirits (and it’s confirmed in the Kyoshi novels that spirits with self given names such as Glowworm or Old Iron are more powerful than others).

We see her struggle with Vatuu (again whilst using the AS, even though Wan smacked Vatuu the moment he entered the AS)

Then we see her struggle against Unalaq (AGAIN while using the avatar state several times, and never once gaining a solid advantage over him, even while she had three other elements, and much more skill at her disposal)

Then we see her somehow outmatch Unavatuu in power with only her own spiritual energy, even though her energy, her past lived energy, and raavas energy stalemated Unalaq and Vatuu earlier

Imo, this season just doesn’t show an accurate depiction of the AS at all, or of Korras actual fighting skills, thoughts?
