It boggles my mind that most Drs. Will tell you they recommend against replacement. I get that it means I'll need more replacements in the future (I'm 32, getting THR of left hip on 28th) but I would trade that out any day to be able to be myself again. Be active, play with my son, hell even just put my socks on normally.
To be honest I am excited to be getting this done. I hope being that I'm young, recovery is easier. I would rather be young with a metal hip, then live life through this pain. Anyone else have this experience?
