Recently turned away by a psychiatrist in the hospital
Post Body

I was recently in the hospital for (idk if saying this is allowed here. I don’t want to trigger anyone). After seven days I got a new psychiatrist who’s bedside manner was lackluster. He discharged my day seven of me being there. Two days later I had a (short, thank Goodness) psychotic episode. I admired to hearing voices , I was mumbling, seeing things…. So much more. The next day I saw him he was visibly upset. Saying I was wasting his time, taking up a bed and since I was able to form a few sentences I was had to go. He warned me if I come back they’re gonna keep me for a long time so don’t come back to this hospital.

Now I’m overthinking this DID I do the right thing by going to the hospital the second time?

That's fucked up. I'd definitely call someone at the hospital and inform them of his behavior.. idk who tho. That could really mess someone up being treated like that by a "professional". You did nothing wrong.

That's good to hear! I find it really difficult to make phone calls too, so you're doing great :)
