I'm a big, stocky, masculine guy. 6ft, 285lbs and bald with a beard. Most people are probably intimidated by me tbh, yet I'm more scared of them.
My nervous fidgeting, trembling/quiet voice, and just general awkwardness makes everything so off-putting about me. I feel like I'm expected to have some sort of commanding presence by others instead.
Just makes me feel even more embarrassed and pathetic that I'm this big man terrified of something as basic as interacting with people. Like, why??? I don't get it.
Does anyone else feel like the way they look adds to the pressure/fear of not acting how others would expect? Or something similar?
