As title says, I am now 1 year sober from every substance.

I spent year hooked on weed and then 6 months in the hole with coke and tusi.

I post this here because I first tried coke to overcome a social situation that I had that day and I thought coke would make me less anxious and actually act like a normal human being on social events. And... It did. So I tried it again, and again, and again, and I was hooked just like that.

It never gave me the same effects again and became a living hell.

NEVER try coke or drugs thinking it will help with AvPD, because it may actually work for you, and that is the beginning of a downward spiral.

I guess the main drug used for overcoming AvPD is alcohol, which is just as bad as an addiction. Tread carefully if u use it for that. To quit anything is horribly hard, BUT possible. Always possible.
