Do You think You have AvPD because of depression or The other way around?

I'm trying to figure out if my depression has stopped me all these year from going to friends meet ups, parties, or whatever. And if maybe my depressed attituded has made people not invite me to things when i was in school
BUT maybe.... It's the other way around, because of AvPD I could be depressed
