I have wanted to dye my hair blonde for years and recently got out the mental hospital and decided to just go for it. I made a hair consultation appointment and had to get the bus then walk a long way through town to get there. Saw loads of people around my age with friends, socialising, laughing. It hurt so much. Then at the hairdresser being reminded I’m not normal as I try and fake being so for the consultation. Next week I have to sit an hour and 45 minutes while they dye my hair. Why is socialising so difficult. I hate leaving my house and being reminded of what I am.
