I've posted here before about some abnormal lab results ordered by my primary Dr which led to going to a Rheumatologist a few days ago. He said he suspects I have MCTD. He did a bunch more tests and something that came back abnormal was that my free kappa light chains are high. Does anyone else with autoimmune conditions have this?
I'll post all my abnormal results so far.
Free Kapa light chain: 2.50
Free lambda light chain (normal): 1.63
Free K/L ratio (normal): 1.53
Autoimmune specific tests:
RNP SM Antibody: 8.0
RNP SM Interpretation: Positive
ANA Nuclear Antibody- Positive
ANA Pattern: speckled
ANA Titer- 1:1280
Other tests:
MCV: 81.4
MPV: 9.3
TIBC: 514
Transferrin: 367
Sedimentation rate : 22
Iron saturation: Just slightly low- 19
