Aligning a new (aftermarket) hood?
Post Body

I made the mistake of buying an aftermarket hood for a 2010 Tacoma, but it's already painted and installed so it's a little late to get OEM. I had a shop painted and installed it myself, but it doesn't line up perfectly. There's a pretty significant gap on the front side, and on the left of the hood. The factory hood used self -centering bolts which I replaced with standard style bolts.... But how do I get the hood lined up and then tighten down if the bolts are underneath the hood? I tried loosening them just a tiny bit and adjusting the hood but it didn't work too well.
