Goodbye AutoZone
Post Body

Today is my last day at the zone, I was a PSM since the very beginning which was 10 months ago. I’m leaving to a job that pays $5 more an hour and way less stress inducing. I don’t have a problem with the people at my location except for my store manager, he is the cause for 90% of the bad reviews at this store and 95% of the bad reviews at stores he has worked at in the past. He started picking favorites to give hours to when I had a daughter to take care of where as we had managers who still lived with their parents, I was working an average of 26 hours a week from December to June and I was told it was our dm but come to find out he just allocated the hours in a different way. I was a loaner zoner for 3 different stores besides my own and he would not let those stores use me on certain days just so I could stay under 30 hours. I was later told by other employees that he just simply didn’t like me which is why he very close to just sending to another store permanently. The company has good bones but there’s a lot of cleaning house they have to do. When I first joined this page, there were hardly any complaints but it took a turn for the worst once we entered into 2024. I wish all of you luck and hope any new employees don’t have the same story I have. Maybe it is just a store/personnel problem but I can’t think of any stores paying PSMs $23.50 an hour. If I were to come back to the parts sales industry, I would probably end up going to the evil green place (all jokes). I wish all of you the best and I hope AZ can switch tracks very soon.
