Good friend of mine has 6 months of bodyshop experience. How risky is it letting him paint my bodykit?

So,
Ordered a FRP bodykit from Japan - taking 4 months. One of my best mates worked in a spray shop for 6 months and learned some of the basics.
My car is an OEM paint colour with an oem paint code, no pearl.
Would it be stupid to let him paint my bodykit, or is it worth doing, and sanding back if he does a shit job?
