I'm trying to make a whitelist of approved users other than mods able to submit linkposts to a subreddit. (Specifically, /r/40khomebrew, a certain user who runs/is associated with a story contest outside reddit) Asking in /r/modhelp led me here, with the caveat that AFA(they)K it would require making the Submit a Link visible to everyone and have Automod clean up all the non-whitelisted posts. I believe I understand how that would work, but before implementing it I want to ask: Is there a better way? With Automod or without it; we don't use it for anything else ATM.
