So for a while I've had the AutoMod approve all submissions in the spam filter using:

    # Approve all submissions that get caught in the spam-filter
    type: submission
    action: approve

    ---

I have also tried this with the types "link submission" and "all" both to no avail.

It has worked well for me, but I have ran into a problem recently; not with AM, but with people. My subreddit has a rule in which people can only post once a month per group they represent and some have deleted their posts to get around this.

After some researching, my best option is to approve all posts and use the moderation log to see if a user has had an old post which they removed, as they will still be in the log even if deleted from reddit.

That being said, my problem is that the above code only approves self posts, not link posts.

I have tried the same code, changing type to "link submission" but to no avail.

How does one approve all posts, or how does one separately approve all link posts?
