I've been given some scripts and taught how to modify it to search for an image and perform an action. I need to customize is so that it also searches for additional images and performs the action conditionally based on the second image.

Example of what is: Find a ball in the picture and perform the action

Example of what I need: Find a ball in the picture and if the ball is blue, perform the action.

The script is about 1100 lines long and I'm not sure where to begin copying to show it here.

I could use help being pointed in the best direction for tutorials since I'm not familiar enough with any of this to know proper terminology to begin the process. I'm also willing to pay for help.
