I have an interview with a detailing garage in 2 days and I do want the job, but I am afraid there might be some complications if they want me to sign a non-compete. I run a small mobile-detailing business where I do like 1-2 cars per month. My clients are mostly friends/family/neighbors and right now its just a little side-hustle but I am determined to someday grow the business into a full time job for myself. I don't want to risk that for a temporary job that pays $10-$12 hr. Anyway, I am just curious if this is a common thing in the industry.
