$2,500 deductible with insurance repair or try somewhere else outside insurance?

Post Body
Opened my door and a car scraped into it. I have a $2,500 deductible and itโs already been reported to insurance. Do I go get an insurance-referred shop to do it or should I try to find another way to get it fixed? Would it make a difference on my insurance rate or could I even get it much cheaper than $2,500?
I donโt have a shop I know in my area (North Hollywood, CA). Thanks in advance for your expertise!
