Camry hybrid electrical issues

2006 (7?) Camry Hyrid. When it rains I get a few inches of water in the well beneath the ancillary battery, shorting it. I did have some work done on that panel a few years back. I sealed the gaskets along the trunk. Anything I can do? Or any advice, really?
