Post Body

So being from the US I strongly identify with the ideal that the US was founded on, but it seems like those values have gone out the window more and more as time has gone on and it has harder to have a space in a culture that is increasingly rigid. I have noticed that with certain aspects of my life I have been outsourcing it (healthcare as I mentioned in a reply to another post), but I do notice that I really do feel like a citizen of the world, not in the sense that we need to give up all our possessions and have a world government, but that increasingly no one country has all my life in it. For instance, I plan to have an apartment in Bogota eventually and I have moved my medical care there. There are other aspects of my life I have not been able to move quite yet, but outside my livelihood, I don't feel like one aspect of my life belongs to the US.
