Granted, my diet isn't good—I eat more of it than I should—but that's usually because it's fast and easy when I'm low on time or suffering executive dysfunction. But like, not all of us will only eat warm beige things and are deathly afraid of touching a vegetable. (Personally, my go-to quick meal when I'm at home is salad kits with grilled chicken.) Not to mention that after your 20's, that kind of diet makes you feel exhausted and like you just drank a McDonalds' grease trap.
But on a more serious note, I think a lot of my resentment is because it's one of those stereotypes that lead to people who didn't grow up with more supportive/permissive parents not getting diagnosed, because a lot of us had it drilled out of them.
Edit: "Stereotype." Goddamn it.
Edit 2: It's more of a peeve, not an offense.
I admit I used to be very picky, but I have been expanding my diet. But you have to remember these are stereotypes and are an abrupt generalization.
I sometimes eat nuggies but I love me some kale and mushrooms alongside other healthier foods.
