Is sensitivity to temperature of foods and drinks a thing?
Post Body

I just had this thought while taking a sip of coffee this morning. Everybody around me seems to be able to basically drink their coffee straight from the pot. I’ve always thought it was a conditioning thing, like they must just be used to burning the shit out of their mouths every day, while I’m over here feeling sorry for them because there’s no way they know what pizza tastes like after all that damage.

Comments

My burn tolerance for my tongue is way less than a lot of people I know including my roommate, might be completely unrelated to my autism. Sensory wise though I will only eat fruit if it is straight from the fridge cold. But biting anything frozen also upsets me
