I was on SSDI for about 10 years and decided to go back to work. Wife and I lived in the upper thumb of Michigan to be near my parents but when they moved we planned to move home to Chicago. I got hired in Technical Support for a local internet provider. Year and a half later I was rocking at my job but yesterday I got called in to a meeting with the VP of Support and the Chief of People telling me that I violated a social media policy on our handbook and I was fired. Now this was at 4 pm and I had been working half the day. Today I get this birthday card and there was a message about how good an employee I was. Now they never shared with me the details of the infraction I supposedly violated. None just you violated it and bye. Read the message itβs messed up!
