There have been several times where something awkward happens, and I assume I made it awkward because of my autism, like I didn’t know what the proper response to something was, or I didn’t say something at the right time.
But, there are times when I feel that way, and then someone reassures me that I responded the same way they would have, or that my response or how I handled a situation was normal.
So yeah, I guess sometimes it’s hard to differentiate between awkward autistic situations and genuinely socially confusing ones. It’s easy to just assume I’m the problem lol, but that isn’t always the case.
A non-existent penny for your thoughts?
