Hi, as the title says 9 year old (we also have a 3 year old). How do we tell her this? My wife doesn't love me at all anymore and has moved on. We are roommates. All happened in the past month.

Right now our plan is to say " mommy is going to be spending most nights at her friends house because her friend really needs help Right now"

Thoughts?

Edit: we need to minimize transition pains to avoid meltdowns and aggression that scares her brother. House is extremely small so there's no where to really have private space away from the noise.
