My 11 yr old son was placed in individual education at school a little more than a year ago which did wonders for his education but he doesnt meet any new kids. Until the end of the year he had a friend that he spent a lot of time with but that friend suddenly got angry about something that happened several years ago and broke up the friendship.
After that my son no longer have any friend and no obvious place to make new friendship. His older brother find him too childish to spend much time with him as well.
I started following autism events. I try and go to them and talk to other parents in hopes of finding my son a friend. I found my son 1 friend so far.
