For background, my stepson (m12) is middle of the road. One of his symptoms is the common inability to read social cues. I'm not sure if it's a common symptom but he wants to know every detail of every situation. I'm considering enrolling him into a micro-facial expression reading class. This would at least give him the logical knowledge of the emotional climate of his surroundings so that he may navigate them better. It would also give the appearance of looking at people, which he very much would do if he thought it would give him insight.
