Has anyone ever used a travel company to help book vacations for family with children on the spectrum? Our son is non verbal and has issues with new things or places. He is 8 yrs old and we havenāt flown yet. The only time we have flown was when he was one years old. That was a terrible flight from Los Ćngeles to London. We didnāt know back then that he was autistic. It was a very tough flight and we have never flown together again as a family. The only family vacation we have done are close to home within four hours drive in rented motor homes where we can control of his environment. He also enjoys motor homes. We want to fly to other destinations and havenāt done so yet because we are so afraid. Iāve looked into this company called āMagical Storybook Travelā. Has anyone used them? How about another specialized tour agency? Are they worth it? How can we enjoy domestic or international air travel with our son? We would like him to have a great experience.
