Has anyone's child here significantly improved socially due to getting early intervention for level 1 ASD? I have level 1 ASD and I got diagnosed at 20. I am very disturbed by this. I feel like my life was taken away from me because my parents never listend to my school teachers or counsellers about their suspicions i might be on the mild side of hte spectrum. I feel like I really needed that early interventino and social skills coaching so that I could hav eproperly intergrated into friend groups and learned how to be like everyone else growing up. I dont blame my parents, I know they love me. But i just cant shake the feeling that they knew I was on the spectrum the entire time nad decided not to have my needs met.
