I recently received a new job offer and my kiddo (8) overheard me saying I had scheduled a test for the new job. All of a sudden all hell broke loose. Kiddo got so upset and told me I shouldn't click yes and accept the job offer that I need to stay where I'm at. I'm making more but literally my job schedule will remain the same and his day schedule will remain untouched.

I don't understand why he is so upset. I know change is super hard for him but when asked if that us the issue I get told " you need to be where you are happy!! You need to stay!" The thing is i am not happy at my current job... i have no idea how to help kiddo feel better about this transition.
