How do you all do it?

My 6 year old son is like an energizer bunny that never stops going. And lately we are going through a rough phase of not listening at all, it’s like basically talking to a wall. But there are situations that are almost dangerous and one of my toddlers ends up getting hurt because he plays to rough. How do you all discipline? I’m at a loss for finding a tactic that actually works. His therapists all try and help him work on it but nothing sticks.
