Hi friends, I take care of my sister who's autistic along with a genetic syndrome. We tried sedating her for a scan today and she was still moving through it. The next option is anesthesia which means she has to be intubated. My parents are arguing with me and saying no as if we have a choice. They need the scan to figure out why she's having seizures. I'm so upset that my parents don't just support me. They put her in my care because they said they couldn't handle it anymore but yet they think they can micromanage how I care for her... I'm so upset about all of this and then being jerks makes it worse. I'm trying to do the best I can to figure out what's going on after they medically, physically and emotionally neglected and abused her for her whole life. I'm so sad and so frustrated right now... Just had to vent to people who understand the difficulties.
