Hi all,

My kiddo is nearly 2 and having an Autism Evaluation this coming week. I'm pretty sure it'll be 'positive'. He doesn't talk, not one work just grunts. He reads the same book over and over again. He's obsessed with and very good at puzzles. But he makes great eye contact. I digress.

We have an 8 year old pitbull. My kid is OBSESSED with her. Usually he is 'soft' and 'gentle', lying his head on her. But sometimes he is rough, and pulls her tail or today punched her in the head?! She's perfect and just got up and walked away (thank god). I've had to isolate them from eachother because he is ALWAYS crawling all over her, trying to feed her his food etc.

Looking I guess for similar stories and advice. Do autistic kids tend to have stronger bonds with animals earlier?

Thank you!
