Suggestions for executive dysfunction-friendly haircut?
Post Body

Does anyone have any suggestions for a very low-maintenance haircut/hairstyle? I donā€™t have sensory issues surrounding hair, but I still donā€™t really do anything to it because a). Iā€™ve never been particularly interested in hair care, and b). the amount of steps required to style hair is A LOT and my executive dysfunction wouldnā€™t let me do it. Iā€™ve wanted to try something new for a while, but I donā€™t want to end up with a haircut that will look terrible because of my sheer inability to style it properly.

My hair is very straight and super thin (which is a problem because it has zero volume), I usually let it hair dry on its own and I wear it down or in a simple braid or ponytail. I donā€™t use product at all unless Iā€™m going somewhere fancy.

Ideally, Iā€™d like:

  • Something shoulder- or chin-length (I like what is known on the internet as ā€œbisexual bobā€, but based on pictures, it seems to require more effort than I can put into it)
  • Something that wonā€™t require daily washing. Thereā€™s no way in hell Iā€™ll be able to maintain that.
  • No styling or minimal styling

I know itā€™s a stretch, but I just want to get a rough idea of what could suit me executive functioning-wise. I figured NTs wouldnā€™t be of much help, so here I am, asking for advice. Thanks!
