How am I supposed to cook dinner consistantly...

So I know about meal prepping and such, which is not where my problem lies. I recently graduated college and I'm still living at home with my parents. I plan to start my own illustration business and get an autism coach to deal with all sorts of new problems I'm having. However it's gonna take another couple weeks before I can get a coach, thus I'm asking reddit for help.

I don't have to cook everyday. On average my brother cooks once a week, my dad twice a week and my mom does the rest. She hasn't officially asked me yet, but she's insinuating she wants me to start cooking one day too. She's usually accepting of my issues, but not really when it's about house work :')

The thing is, I'm not on my best from around 3-6 pm, which is the time I would have to cook. I suck at consistantly doing housetasks, even if they have a scheduled date. I'm supposed to be vacuuming the top floor once a week on saturdays, but they're lucky if I can do it once a month...

I just cannot see myself being able to cook every single week without having a meltdown every so often. I shutdown and isolate myself in my room all the time, but cooking means I have to be around my family when they're coming home from work, which I find a super overwhelming moment of the day. And to be in a loud kitchen, touching all sorts of foods with my hands... It's my personal hell...

I have ideas on how I could approach this, by wearing noise cancelling headphones and gloves. Having a consistant day on which I cook. Cooking easy and quick recipes. But I can just tell there's gonna be days when I simply can't do it...

Anybody got some life saving tips?

When I lived with my mom, my "cook" dinner days really just meant provide dinner. I didn't have to actually cook it. So, on my way home from work I would stop by Publix and pick up some chicken and some rolls, maybe some dessert. The only thing I "cooked" was the microwaved veggies.

No. You can cook pretty much anything smallish you would put on the oven in an air fryer.
