Anyone have any tips for phone free time/phone addiction?

Post Body

I feel like the world has made us so digitally connected that I struggle to function without always being on my phone - news, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, WhatsApp, emails etc.

I don’t think it helps that I have an office/corporate job which is a lot of reading emails and replying to teams messages as I work mainly remote with other remote people.

However I want to wake up and not be on my phone all the time, or feel like my brain needs constant distraction or stimulation! I also heard that traumatised autistic kids used to read lots (me) and when we turn into adults we use our phone to disassociate instead.

I know when I’m strict and get off my phone it makes me feel better but I find it SO hard. Especially before bed when I feel like when I put it down and have no distractions I struggle to sleep as my brain won’t stop whirring or being anxious.
