Does anyone one else love how fresh and peaceful u feel after a shower but planning to get in seriously feels like impending doom? I don’t mean this is a quirky/relatable/conversational way I mean legitimately there have been so many times where I sat in place for the entire night Till morning anxiously like stuck in the preplanning stage before showering. Its been taking a toll on how much sleep I get and my consistency in everything I do.
I have a feeling that the tens of mini processes that make up the one job of showering it what overwhelms my brain. Any help? I can’t afford therapy or any meds but if u have behavioral or organizational tips to share that’d mean a whole lot to me.
I’ve tried the sensory limiting trick where u turn off the lights or play music while showering. but when in a campus dorm room shower u definitely wanna see everything 🫠 it’s gross and narrow tbh. And the water pressure is comically low, but ofc the sinks are literally fire hydrant pressurized. The shower is Not visually gross but ik how used it is and the walls or soap holder lmost always touch u… 🤕and having to wear sandals in I just think about how it’s prbly useless 😵💫😵💫😵💫 makes us feel like a dirty ass bird bath… ughhhhhhh send help
