Does anyone else in here have trouble keeping jobs? Like you pass as neurotyoical enough that people tell you they couldn't tell you have autism, but then people still target you and bully you, and set you up? Or tell you you're weird? But they can't tell you have autism?
Does anyone get fired for dumb stuff that doesn't make a ton of sense?
Last year I was fired from W L Gore after only 2 weeks, because I was "not a culture fit." People treated me really bad and I felt really out of place and targeted.
Yesterday I got placed on a suspension pending investigation for a job I've been at for only 3 weeks.
Long story short, an older man was sexually harassing me at work, and in my discomfort, I just played along/responded to him, instead of running off and telling HR and creating a scene. And another man, who he invited into the convo, reported both of us for sexually harassing HIM, when I was the one being sexually harassed. I wrote my statement and I can't go into work. And then they wanted me to turn in an iPad, like I was going to steal it. I told them I'm not being walked by HR to go get it from my desk, and they can get it themselves.
My job before this I got fired for requesting ADA accommodations because I was getting really burnt out and was struggling to come into work.
I just don't understand why this constantly happens. What is wrong with me? I've had about 20 jobs in the 10 years I've been working. I'm tired of this man. I purposely seek out jobs where I don't have to interact with people as much, and it just doesn't fail. I wish people would leave me the hell alone at work.
