Post Body

I don't know why it's taken me so long to do this and I hope someone else can benefit from reading this.

Tags have always bugged me and I'd never stop feeling them throughout the day. I'd cut particularly scratchy tags, but a few weeks ago I went through and clipped off all the tags in my wardrobe and it's been a game changer.

Unless you have high-end stuff that you plan on reselling, just cut the tags off. A pair of embroidery scissors (with sharp pointy tips) help you get very close to the seam.

I guess I resisted so long because I felt like it was damaging/ruining the clothes, but it's just about making MY clothes work better for ME. Now when I get a new garment, I'll immediately cut off the price tag AND the sewn-in label. No more waiting to see if a tag will be bothersome, it's already taken care of.

The clothes police won't be mad that you cut off the tags and it's just a little thing to remove some discomfort from your day.

Hope this helps someone out there have a smoother day!
