I don't know about y'all, but certain smells/sounds that I love have a way of calming me in a way that really nothing else can. Some examples:
Smells:
- Barnes and Noble, especially if they have a coffee shop inside.
- The inside of the EPCOT ball (Spaceship Earth ride).
- Versace Bright Crystal.
- New car smell.
- Coco Chanel Mademoiselle
- Michael's craft store, especially during fall.
- The smell of the smoke just after you blow a candle out.
Sounds:
- (Very specific) The sound design of Peter Quill's spaceship, The Milano. It both whirs like a spacecraft and roars like an American muscle car. 👌👌👌
- Gently flowing water, especially fountains or indoor water fixtures.
- Bill Nye the Science Guy intro.
- The instrumental part of "Smooth Criminal".
- The staccato plucking of a string instrument.
Your turn! What sounds and smells do you love?
