I can't say I did well in high school, there were some pretty heavy indications that I was really not, but they weren't taken very seriously, because through it all, I had very good grades. I graduated with honors and without receiving any mental health treatment except an hour of therapy per week in my senior year, and no diagnosis except testing anxiety and depression. I told my parents I would rather do vocational training than go to university, but was pressured into going to uni. Long story short, it's been 6 years, 2 failed attempts at uni and one continuous downward trend for my mental health. I'm only now seeking an autism diagnosis, and only debatably qualified to cashier. Really turns out having learned to function within the rigid structure of school did not translate very well to anything else. So, who's the same?
