Anyone else been told they have PDD-NOS or atypical autism?

So my assessor explained these no longer exist as official diagnoses, but this is what she suggests after the first part of my assessment. I could continue to the next part, involving a second clinician, where she believes I may just meet the threshold of autism, according to current criteria. I agree with her. I basically did the assessment, on suggestion from my therapist, to validate my life experiences/struggles, as I work on my anxiety and self worth.

I was just wondering if anyone else fits an atypical diagnosis and what do you think you struggle most with?

For me it's more social difficulties as opposed to say, sensory issues, where mine seem pretty minor, compared to what I've heard from other women. I scored high on fixations too but I quite like getting hooked on a hobby or subject.
