Post Body

there’s just so much stuff and not enough time to enjoy it all.

music is the biggest one i’m thinking of right now. i tend to hyperfixate on one album/artist, or even just a couple of songs from diff artists, and just listen to that for weeks on repeat.

there’s so much other music that i enjoy, but it’s like right now i want to listen to this specific music and i don’t know when i’ll have time to listen to other music. and not even necessarily new music, just music i’ve listened to in the past. or it feels like if i do listen to other music, i’m betraying/missing out on the music i’m currently hyperfixated on? it doesn’t make a ton of sense.

same with tv shows. i tend to repeat the same shows, even though there are new shows i want to watch. this one is a little different because i think it’s the comfort and familiarity of knowing the show and what’s going to happen.

does anyone else experience this?
