helly everyone!

My situation i’ll soon be transitioning into a fresh job* that I did interviews for during the last months. almost simultaneously i got a formal diagnosis for autism, with not really any treatment going on as of now, though it will start in the not too distant future.

My worris There are a lot of ways in which i new job feels as a big hurdle and big change, not only in the adjustments it will require in day to day life. i am thinking of adjusting to a new social environment, estimating (in)formality levels, new info, juggling work/my own life, how much to share about yourself etc.

My question to you What are helpful things to do / realise / think about when you transition into a new job? any advice, personal experience, dont’s, avoiding certain pitfalls like hyperfocus (or just give me a thumbs up ofc :)) are welcome. it could maybe also be about preparing stuff or advice for when i’m actually on the new job.

*just as some background info i feel quite positive about the new position, I would even say i’m happy about it. ;)
