I've recently been thinking a lot lately about how I look at friends. I heard someone mention catching up with a friend they haven't talked to in years, and that just seemed odd to me. If I haven't talked to someone in years, I don't consider them a friend anymore. For me, I like to be in more frequent (though constant isn't necessary, obviously) communication and face to face contact. But I also realized I don't know at what point does someone become a friend. How much do you have to talk to someone before you think of them as a friend? Just hoping to get some other thoughts on all this! 💜
