Our groomer has been great for close to 3 years now, but today said our girl Barley had mats in her fur they couldn’t get out, and they ‘had to’ cut her this short. Said they used clippers with a long guard on it and thinning shears. Before pictures included to show how fluffy she was.
She’s 3.5, we live in Southern California so I’m worried about her regulating her body temperature with this new cut in the coming months heat.
Aside from being sad that she doesn’t look like my little lion anymore, should I be concerned about her coat growing back the same? Anything we can do to help her fur grow back healthier / quicker? Can anyone share pics of their wiggle butt with a fully grown back coat after this happened to them?
That's what we worry about everything Kodiak goes.
