I live in the UK and it really frustrates me that we have no Sephora here; it's also virtually impossible to get some higher end brands here without spending an absolute fortune on them postage.

I know you really suffer with makeup prices in Aus and it makes me really sad, because I crave a lot of the US brands and also don't want to spend a small fortune on them (why is makeup so cheap in the US? Damn them!).

So I'm thinking about setting up something on ebay to sell some makeup which is available in the UK but mostly not elsewhere; I don't want to rip you folks off, but I'd like to make a decent side income from it, not just for finances but also because it pisses me off that people don't have access to great makeup purely due to their location. I love makeup almost as much as I love cats, and I believe everyone should have access to the great things.

I've done a bit of investigating but it's still a bit hard for me to tell which brands are the most sought after, so I would really appreciate your advice on this.

I've bought a couple of low end palettes/dupes to test the market; I don't have the funds right now to buy higher end products, but if I can make enough of a margin in the low end bracket, I may invest in the more expensive, sought-after items in the future.

Also, to those who charge ten Aus dollars for postage for a five dollar item, fuck you! What is wrong with these people?
