Many Australians have been wondering what the massive increase in education funding delivered by Model-Trask has achieved. For those people, we have generously compiled a list of Key Performance Metrics and how they have performed under Model-Trask, when compared to the Slater Government (as Model-Trask has been Minister for Education in both the Gregor and Centre Governments).

• Attendance rate: Up from 90.9% to 98%

• Attendance level: Up from 71.2% to 84%

• NAPLAN Participation (Year 9 students): Up from 92.3% to 97%

• Year 10 - 12 Indigenous Retention Rates: Up from 60.5% to 87%

• Proportion of Year 3 Students performing at or above the national minimum standards for writing: Up from 96.7% to 99.4%

• Proportion of Year 5 Students performing at or above the national minimum standards for writing: Up from 93.3% to 98.7%

• Proportion of Year 7 Students performing at or above the national minimum standards for writing: Up from 89.7% to 96.3%

• Proportion of Year 9 Students performing at or above the national minimum standards for writing: Up from 82.2% to 96.8%

• NAPLAN mean scale scores for Numeracy Year 7: Up from 550.3 to 590.5
