What was claimed:

There has been a furore of controversy around a tweet made by Commonwealth Party politician 12MaxWild in which he called Foreign Affairs Minister TheSensibleCentre a "mongoloid." Condemned as a "disgusting racist" by figures from across the political spectrum, 12MaxWild has hit back, claiming that the post was made by Malcolm Tucker, a writer for the Commonwealth Times, the journalistic mouthpiece of the Commonwealth Party.

Our verdict:

True. The post was made from 12MaxWild's twitter account. Malcolm Tucker is entirely innocent.
