Out of the following candidates, who are you most likely to give your first preference vote to in the Sydney by-election?
Party | Candidate | % | Change |
---|---|---|---|
Independent | model-putrid | 38% | -1% |
Liberal Party | MLastCelebration | 21% | 4% |
Labor Alliance | imfeelingcorny | 17% | 14% |
The Greens | haroldinite | 15% | ±0% |
Independent Group | GHagrid | 5% | -10% |
Social Democrats | TheOWOTrongle | 3% | New! |
Independent[1] | JJRoamer | 2% | -9% |
[1] Was Social Democrats in previous poll. Now Independent.
Note: This poll only counts campaigning on days 1 and 2. The forum debate is not counted for this poll.
model-putrid: Pretty impressive that you've managed to basically hold your ground given the lead you have. Your campaign has been pretty good, but there is the caveat that you've done one more campaign post than most of the other candidates, so I'm not sure if I'd expect this to last. Good job, though!
MLastCelebration: You've put in a good effort with that first post, and it's been noted by the calculator. If you keep going like this at the debates and with the other campaign post/the party post, your numbers will keep trending upwards!
imfeelingcorny: This is a surprise! With some effort put in, the Labor Alliance had nowhere to go but up. Given that they've used all their posts in the first two days, there's been a lot of effort from this new party registering in this poll. Like model-putrid, there is the caveat that you don't have any campaiging left to do, but you do still have the debates, so you could still do well with a good showing there!
haroldinite: Good campaign post! You're basically steady because of all the movements of the other candidates around you, which didn't give you much room to move, but these numbers can certainly improve with a good second campaign post/party post and a strong debate showing.
GHagrid: Not doing anything of note in the campaign will do that. Need more campaigning!
TheOWOTrongle: While this is your first showing, you weren't able to snatch back the 11% that JJRoamer had in the first poll due to, again, not doing anything.
JJRoamer: Basically has done nothing except loudly declare that he hates the SDP, so yep, becoming an independent and then proceeding to do nothing will mean you lose almost all your polling.
